Okay, this was HELL to upload. Mediafire kind of messed up with me. And I had to rename all the tracks and stuff. But I just had to share it. And I'd appreciate it if you commented if you're downloading - and you SHOULD download it (or, if you think the filesize of the entire OST is too heavy, at least take the sample tracks).

bare: a pop opera is about Peter and Jason, two Catholic schoolboys maintaining a taboo relationship. It's about religion and sex, secrets and loyalty; about a group of messed-up kids, who, at the end of the day, are just looking for guidance - or, at the very least, someone who'd listen. It's about the purity of Peter and Jason's love, even though the Church calls it tainted and taboo.

And even though this show never made it to Broadway, it's brilliant and IMO is among the ranks of RENT.

Hokay. Before I give you the links, I want to make this clear: these calendars are for personal use only. Don't post this anywhere else; if you want to share, just link to this post. Don't try to make money out of these. This calendar was made by a fan for other fans. Ok? :)

Now that that's out of the way, I have two versions of the same calendar: one for RGB printers, one for CMYK printers. If you own a printer and aren't sure if it's RGB or CMYK, refer to this. ...But you know, sometimes it really doesn't matter; the RGB files are smaller in file size (around 2mb) and kind of have more vibrant colors, but I usually work with CMYK for print, and maybe some of you do, so I'm including those in case.

As for the dimensions, I've made it so that each calendar = 1/4 letter-size paper, although I believe it's enlargable since I worked with a high resolution (300 dpi)? It's your call; I'm sure you can tell when a picture is blurry and pixellated. :p

The files have been compressed into .rar format, so you'll need a program like Winrar to extract them. :D

I was scrolling through a friend's iPod playlist when I saw Carole King among the artists. I instantly played "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" and melted into a pool of glee and nostalgia; I was startled when the song segued into an unfamiliar melody - I first thought it was just a live improv (because Carole King's awesome like that), but it ran too long (the entire mp3 stretches at 7 minutes), so I figured it must have been a medley. Okay, this isn't a media-sharing journal, and I normally wouldn't post albums/soundtracks, except that this one has been on repeat for around a month. No kidding.

Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is a 40-something-minute internet musical film in three acts, written by Joss Whedon (of Buffy/Angel fame) and starring Neil Patrick Harris as its title character. It centers on three characters: the anti-hero Billy/Doctor Horrible (Harris), his love interest Penny (Felicia Day), and his archnemesis the hero Captain Hammer (Nathan Filliion). Billy Buddy is an aspiring villain and world-ruler who has been applying to get in the Evil League of Evil, which is headed by Bad Horse, but all he really wants is social change. I love the characters, the ironies, and the ending. And the script. You can watch it online here

...Also, I just recently discovered that my laptop lets me type in Chinese and Japanese - it's pretty useless since I'm illiterate at both (SADLY), but I'm fascinated anyway. (It took me almost a year to realize this. XDDD)

DOWNLOAD! :D I heard JJ stayed up two days to compose and record this song. It's a tribute to the victims of the 5/12 Si Chuan earthquake.

In case you don't know who JJ Lin is, he's a Singaporean artist who's released 5 albums already. He sings, dances, writes songs and plays the piano. He also acts a bit - he appeared in the Chinese adaptation of Hana-Kimi as Mizuki/Rui Xi's brother, lollerskates. Anyway, I think he's brilliant. :)

...This is turning into some sort of fandom journal, isn't it. Lolz.

Anyway, "被遺忘的時光" is a plot device song. It's played twice, once in the store that Yan worked in, and once more at Ming's house. I don't have a copy of the mp3, but here's the YouTube link to the music video. It's a lovely song, really.

¹撩動: "moved/touched" literally, but I decided to use "strummed" instead since strings are involved...
²琴弦: "strings" as in "strings of an instrument" (ie. violin/guitar strings)

Romanization and English translation by yours truly, so don't trust it especially since my grasp on Chinese grammar/sentence structures sucks. I took some creative liberties too. I'm kind of trying to learn Chinese this way, although my new vocabulary will self-destruct in an hour or so. XDDD
